Pennyroyal, Harts – Mentha cervina is sometimes known as Water Spearmint, Hart’s Pennyroyal (Mentha cervina) is an excellent herb for truly boggy places and pond margins. It will flourish in any moist, heavier soil. This plant has a strong mint fragrance and delicate, narrow leaved foliage with attractive whorls of very pale lilac or blue-mauve flowers.
