Mushroom Plant – Rungia klossii is rather a fantastic herb with stunning deep blue flowers and savory, earthy tasting leaves reminiscent of Mushroom. Full of vitamins, the leaves are delicious chopped in salad or on top of Pizzas etc. Always add towards the end of cooking to retain crispness.
Plant in a rich, moist soil in dappled sunlight. Ideal for pots but water and feed on a regular basis. Treat as an annual or give winter protection as an attractive houseplant.
