Nursery assistant
Active and eager person required for nursery and ground maintenance, watering and general help to keep the business running efficiently.
Hours: Mon to Fri, approx. 5 hours a day (flexible) between mid February and the end of October. Hours may increase during busy times.
Start date: February 2023 but we would welcome someone for 2 weeks this year to 1. get familiar with the running of the nursery and 2. to help us prepare for 2023. This role is flexible zero hour
Experienced plants person
Keen and knowledgeable person required to maintain plants, prepare plants for orders, water, pot up and even serve a customer.
Experience with plants/nursery work is essential although we won’t require degree level botanical knowledge! Extra training will be provided of course.
Start date: February 2023. This role is on an annualised hours basis. We will discuss this with you.
Mail order assistant (2 vacancies)
Nimble and organized person required to pack plants for mail order. Knowledge on plants is ideal but not essential. Basic computer skills are required and training given.
Hours: 9am to 3pm (Mon-Thursdays)
Start dates: March for the first vacancy and April for the second.
This role is flexible zero hour
N.B. We always work around you and can cater for school hours etc and all hours can be flexible to a point. However, mail order assistants are only required up to 3pm due to dispatch timings.
