When will my plant(s) be in stock

During the busy season (end of March to August, stock will change on a daily basis. We grow in several batches during the season so you shouldn’t have to wait too long. Seasonality is the main factor though. We don’t force plants and we grow for the season. By the side of each product image, there is a guide to availability e.g African Basil is usually available from Late April to September. Each product also has an ’email when in stock’ notification option.

How long does delivery take?

We will always send your order out as soon as possible. Between April and early June we are obviously extremly busy but we never stop working! Any delays are recorded on our ‘delivery page‘ This page is also linked from your confirmation email.

What are your hours of opening

Our current opening hours can be found on our ‘Contact Us‘ page

What size of plant do you sell and are they ready to be planted?

All our plants are pricked out into 10cm diameter pots. These are larger than the normal small 9cm plants widely available. From there we pot on into 1 Litre, 1.5 Litre and 2 Litre. Sometimes even larger. The size choices (if available) are shown as a drop down option on the product page.

Each plant is ready to be planted in it’s final position (season and weather dependent). Some herbs available in cooler months may prefer to be inside or kept sheltered until warmer months. For example, Vietnamese Coriander is often available all year but requires warmth (heated greenhouse is OK) over the winter.
