Out of season…..

We are open for click and collect on Wednesdays, 10am to 2pm. Why just then?
The nursery is closed but Google tech won’t allow for opening hours to include online or click and collect hours so we must include a day to be ‘open’ or the red text of death appears on our Google listing to say ‘CLOSED’. In reality, we are more than happy for you to collect at other times by appointment. Just give us a ring or send an email 🙂

We offer click and collect all throughout the year – even when we are not open for browsing in the winter months. This is ideal if 1. You would rather just browse from your own home and simply pick up or 2. If you want a few plants in March for example, when we are closed. Check our opening times page for Click and Collect times. Just remember to wait until you get your ‘collection is ready’ email before visiting.

To use Click and Collect, simply add you plants to your basket, click view basket and then select ‘local pickup’. You can then move to the checkout process without paying any delivery charge and also receive a discount on your purchase.

Why the discount? Much of the cost in the online pricing is in the delivery. In reality, delivery costs a lot more than what our webiste calculates and unless you are a huge firm sending 100s of thousands of items each week, postage is never £2.99! Therefore, nursery plant prices are less…..I can here your brains working out your car fuel prices and yes, for some orders it will still be less for us to deliver but if we are open at the time, you may miss out on the other things we sell from our shop, such as terracotta, cards, skincare or a cup of freshly ground coffee.

It is worth noting that we may have items here that we don’t have online but we do try and keep the website updated regualry. Also, we only sell plants online that ready to deliver. In March and early April, we are still early in the season and we won’t have our full range so if you can’t find what you need online but still wish to collect, give us a ring and we can take the order over the phone and you can pay when you collect if preferred.
