Chervil – Anthriscus cerefolium is a tasty culinary herb to grow. It has fern like foliage that have a slight aniseed flavour. Although in fact a biennial grow Chervil as an annual.

Plant Chervil in a shady spot in order to stop early flowering.

A useful herb in the kitchen, the leaves can be used in many dishes. Use as a garnish, in sauces, soups or omelettes. Especially good with vegetables. Harvest leaves for fresh use or freeze for winter months.
