Heliotrope – Heliotropium arborescens

Heliotrope – Heliotropium arborescens has dark green leaves with clusters of rich blue flowers which smell of cherries and vanilla. One sniff and you can see why it is also called the ‘Cherry Pie Plant’!

The flowers turn with the sun – hence its name. Although perennial in warmer climates treat as an annual or overwinter in the warm.

Looks great in a patio pot where the colour and scent of the flowers can really be enjoyed.
