Description:
Mint, Pineapple (Mentha suaveolens ‘Pineapple’)
Mint, Pineapple – Mentha suaveolens ‘Pineapple’
Mint, Pineapple – Mentha suaveolens ‘Pineapple’ is a hardy perennial. It is a striking mint variety with attractive soft green and cream dappled foliage.
It has a mild fruity scent.
Use in teas, fruit salads, garnishing fruit cups and sweet dishes. Maybe add some to cool summer drinks or cocktails. Can also be used in other recipes that require mint.
Not as rampant as other mints but still a vigorous grower. It will grow quite happily in a container where it can’t be too boisterous next to other plants!
