Oregano Cuban – Plectranthus amboinicus is a plant to get everyone talking!  A spreading succulent with thick, highly aromatic, fleshy leaves. The first, juicy bite gives a unique flavour burst of spice followed by the heat of true Oregano with a hint of Thyme. Tangy but refreshing! The list of recipe possibilities is endless!  Just start off by using sparingly instead of normal Oregano and carry on from there. Grow outside in containers or hanging baskets over the heat of the Summer in sun or partial shade and keep free draining soil moist but not wet. Treat as a house plant during cooler months.

An interesting succulent, the love-child of a succulent and a herb (just kidding!). Strong herby smell, must bring in before the frost.
