Description:
Rosemary, Foxtail (Rosmarinus officinalis Foxtail)
Rosemary, Foxtail – Rosmarinus officinalis Foxtail
Rosemary, Foxtail – Rosmarinus officinalis Foxtail is an interesting variety to grow. It has dense arching plumes of foliage radiating from a central stem.
Left to it’s own devices, it can grow two feet or more but many growers prefer to regularly trim or pinch out the growing tips in order to form a neat, semi trailing plant (reminiscent of a foxes tail) for pots and baskets.
Attractive mid-blue flowers. Grow in a sunny, sheltered position.
A very popular culinary herb because it is so versatile in the kitchen. Rosemary also has many medicinal uses. All things considered a wonderful herb to grow!
