Thyme, Garden – Common Compact – Thymus compactus

Thyme, Garden – Common Compact – Thymus compactus has all the flavour (if not more) of common thyme but with a much smaller and neater growth habit.

The bees and pollinators love the pink flowers in summer.

Plant in full sun, in well drained soil. A good Thyme for low edging in the herb garden. The compact habit makes this variety ideal for containers too.

A popular herb in the kitchen it can be incorporated into many dishes. A medicinal herb too, it has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties.
