Pink, Maiden – Dianthus deltoides

Pink, Maiden – Dianthus deltoides is a hardy perennial with small narrow green leaves. It has a creeping habit and very attractive rose pink flowers. The flowers have a delightful sweet scent.

Grow in a well drained soil in a sunny site. Deadhead flowers over the summer to prolong flowering. Maiden Pink makes excellent ground cover but it will also be quite happy in containers or even hanging baskets.
