Description:
Salvia Nachtvlinder (Salvia jamensis)
Salvia Nachtvlinder – Salvia jamensis
Salvia Nachtvlinder – Salvia jamensis means ‘Night Moth’. A beautiful name for this stunning Salvia.
Particularly attractive deep purple, velvety flowers with strong blackcurrant scented foliage. The flowers are also very attractive to bees and pollinators. Shrubby habit.
A long flowering season and relatively easy to grow, you can see why Salvias continue to grow in popularity!
Salvias are very easy to care for in the garden, first of all trim plants in late summer for Autumn flowering and leave plants over winter. After winter trim back in the warmth of the spring, as a result this will promote strong re-growth.

I recently made my first purchase from Norfolk Herbs (which included Salvia Nachtvlinder) and was extremely impressed when my plants arrived. Packaging was excellent, all plants intact, and the quality of all plants was outstanding. Customer service was superb too, most helpful when i called to check on plant availability. It was my first order but it won’t be my last – my next order is being prepared now! Thank you Norfolk Herbs team! Keep up the brilliant work!
