Description:
Cotton Lavender Viridis (Santolina rosmarinifolia subsp. rosmarinifolia)
Cotton Lavender Viridis – Santolina rosmarinifolia subsp. rosmarinifolia
Cotton Lavender Viridis – Santolina rosmarinifolia subsp. rosmarinifolia is a hardy evergreen shrub. This is a compact variety with aromatic green foliage. It contrasts well with other santolinas.
It also has yellow button like flowers in the summer.
Ideal for clipping into a low border hedge as well as a specimen plant in the garden. The foliage makes a perfect foil for other plants.
Grow in a sunny spot which has well drained soil. It is also a good variety for containers. Prune in March and after flowering in order to encourage compact growth and to keep a neat shape.
Use leaves to deter moths.
