Feverfew, Golden (Tanacetum pathenium aureum)
Feverfew, Golden – Tanacetum pathenium aureum is the compact garden form of Feverfew with very bright lime-gold leaves. It has much acclaim for the treatment of migraines.
A hardy perennial that has pungent bright green foliage with masses of daisy like flowers. A self seeder, it will grow in most conditions but prefers a sunny aspect. A good plant to grow for pollinators. This variety also looks good as an edging plant for herb gardens.
Pick leaves before the plant flowers and dry if required. Add flowers to pot-pourris.
As well as migraines can be used medicinally for many other conditions. Also said to be a moth repellent.
