Marjoram, Golden ‘Acorn Bank’ – Origanum aureum Gold is a hardy perennial that originates from Acorn Bank, the National Trust garden in Cumbria. It has golden long pointed leaves that are very aromatic. Pale pink flowers in summer that are particularly attractive to bees and other pollinators.

To achieve the full golden colour of this herb, plant it in semi shade.

A versatile culinary herb, use fresh leaves in a variety of dishes. You can also dry or freeze leaves for use over winter.
