Marjoram Herrenhausen – Origanum laevigatum

Marjoram Herrenhausen – Origanum laevigatum is another exciting new variety for us this year! We fell in love with this marjoram when spotted visiting a garden and knew instantly it was something we would like to add to our catalogue.

A decorative Marjoram with clusters of striking mauve pink flowers and dark green leaves that take on a purple flush in colder weather. A compact, low growing habit which looks wonderful at the front of a border or in containers. A very long flowering period too.

A great herb for encouraging wildlife to the garden as the flowers are particularly attractive to bees and other pollinators.

Will tolerate sun or partial shade in well drained soil.
