Description:

Pennyroyal, Creeping (Mentha pulegium)

Pennyroyal, Creeping – Mentha pulegium

Pennyroyal, Creeping – Mentha pulegium is a member of the mint family. This variety of Pennyroyal is a very low growing form with small leaves that have a very strong mint scent. Ideal for creating a scented lawn or to cushion the spaces in a crazy paving path.

As the Latin name suggests, Pennyroyal was once used as a flea repellent. It is equally as good if you need to banish ants!
