Salvia Cally’s Red (Salvia Newby Hall)

Salvia Cally’s Red (Salvia Newby Hall) has bright red flowers on top of broad yellow green leaves. It is quite a bushy salvia and will withstand a normal winter outside. It is a new variety for us and quite different to others we grow.

Excellent for pots, beds and borders.

As with all salvias, this variety is ideal for drought tolerant planting schemes. A long flowering season and popular with pollinators, it is easy to see why Salvias are growing in popularity!

Salvias are very easy to care for in the garden. Trim plants in late summer for Autumn flowering and leave plants over winter. After winter trim back in the warmth of the spring, subsequently this will promote strong re-growth.

This plant is LEVEL 2 – Will survive an average British winter providing it is planted in well draining soil.
