Thyme, Peace

Thyme, Peace is a NEW variety discovered by Brian, one of the partners here at Norfolk Herbs. It is a very strong growing variety with pink/mauve flowers. It has a good spread too with one plant evetually growing 2-3 feet from the centre. Not only is it strong and beautiful, it also has a citrus scent. It has similar growth habit to creeping lemon but slightly shorter so great for a lawn.  Flowers are particularly attractive to bees and other pollinators. We may be bias but after growing this for a couple of years now, we think it is the best Thyme variety we have ever seen. Long flowering, hardy and pretty. Please note this hasn’t been named to be political. We would like you to imagine sitting in your garden, on your terrace, roof garden etc and watching a bee gently drifting over this gorgeous herb. Then for 1 minute, close your eyes and all you can hear is that Bee. Not a phone ringing, a ping of a social media alert, the drone of vehicles or a distant siren but just that Bee. This is the peace we mean.
