Agrimony – Agrimonia eupatoria

Agrimony – Agrimonia eupatoria¬†is a native herb. Clusters of yellow flowers on slender spikes – hence its other name of ‘Church Steeples’. Finches are very fond of the seeds. Plants prefer full sun to part shade along with well drained soil.

It also has a very long history of medicinal use. It was a fragrant tisane or an astringent for wounds and gargles.
